1831, Sept. 13: Mutual Assurance Fire Insurance Survey

Policy 6953 (R-5093), canceled 1895.
Josiah Siddons was the property owner; James Cornish was the surveyor.
The value was $1,250 @ 2.5 percent = $31.25 + $3 = $34.25 (to insure)
This was a two-story brick house occupied partly as a dwelling and part as a cabinetmaker’s shop.
The size: 19 feet by 30 feet. First story in two rooms occupied as cabinetware rooms. Second story in one room as cabinetmaker's workshop. Garret in two rooms as lodging and storage of furniture. Kitchen is two stories high and 14 feet by x 16 feet, six inches. Cellar is storage for lumber. On the north is a three-story brick house, on the west is a two-story frame and brick house.
